Ti dy hunan, Iesu mawr,
Yw fy noddfa ar y llawr;
Ni ddaw fyth, ni fu erioed,
Dy gyffelyb îs y rhod;
Dere'n glau, 'does îs y ne'
Arall un a leinw'th le.
Rhosyn Saron, teca'i ddawn,
Seren foreu ddysglaer iawn,
Sydd yn arwain hyfryd wawr
Trwy'r anialwch dyrys mawr,
Yn goleuo'r llwybr llaith,
Tua'r wlad o fêl a llaeth.
Dwg ym mlaen fyfi bob pryd,
Trwy holl gyfyngderau'r byd;
Na'd fy ysbryd syrthio i lawr,
Wrth wynebu angau dewr;
Cadw yn dy fynwes gu
F'enaid yn y ffrwydr ddu.

Ti dy hunan, Iesu mawr,

'Does a'th rwystra

Cadarn, cadarn yw dy law,
Gweithio yma, gweithio draw;
Daear fawr a nef yn un
It' sy'n cwympo yn gytun;
Cilia uffern yn ei braw
Pan y byddi Di gerllaw.
Rhosyn Saron teca'i ddawn,
Seren fore eglur iawn
Sydd yn arwain hyfryd wawr
Trwy'r anialwch dyrys mawr -

Ti dy hunan, Iesu mawr,
Yw fy noddfa ar y llawr;
Ni ddaw fyth, ni fu erioed,

(The believer's Refuge)
Thou thyself, great Jesus,
Art my refuge on the earth;
Shall not be, nor ever was,
Thy like under the sky;
Come quickly, there is not under heaven
Another who will fill thy place.
The Rose of Sharon, with the fairest talent,
The morning star very bright,
Is in leading a delightful dawn
Through the great, troublesome desert,
Lighting the smooth path,
Towards the land of honey and milk.
Lead me onward every time,
Through all the straits of the world;
Do not let my spirit fall down,
While facing bold death;
Keep in thy dear breast
My soul in the black battle.
- - - - -
Thou thyself, great Jesus,
Art my refuge on the earth;
Shall not be, nor ever was,
Thy like under the sky;
Come quickly, there is not under heaven
Another who will fill thy place,
There is fullness in Thee,
Which will fill all my needs.
Thou wilt do what be in thy intent,
There is nothing shall frustrate thee
in the world;
Strong, strong is thy hand;
Working here, working over there;
The great earth and heaven the same
To thee shall fall in unity;
Hell shall retreat in its terror
When Thou art at hand.
The Rose of Sharon with the fairest talent,
The very clear morning star
Is leading a delightful dawn
Through the great, troublesome desert -
Lighting the smooth path
Towards the land of honey and milk;
The loveliness of the heaven of heaven
art Thou,
The Rock of our strength and our hope.
- - - - -
Thou thyself, great Jesus,
Art my refuge on the earth;
Shall not be, nor ever was,
Thy like under the sky;
There is no-one else who can heal me,
Conquer my sin, forgive my fault,
But who has given a strong cry
Between the great earth and the heaven.
Having died on the tree,
And extinguished the wrath of heaven,
Thou shalt do what be in Thy intention,
Nothing in the world
shall frustrate Thee;
Firm, firm is Thy hand,
Thou workest here, thou workest yonder,
All earth and great heaven
Shall fall down at Thy feet.
Jesus, rest in thy wound
Will my soul forever more;
Here is my very valuable refuge,
Forever from morning until afternoon;
Here is all my comfort altogether,
Here is my strength
for the heavenly world;
In thy power I will go forward,
I shall conquer water and conquer fire.
